Manufacturing Materials
|
The boots we sell are made from high quality Leather, Patent Leather, or Rubber. We do not sell
any boots made from weaker materials such as PVC or the so-called 'Stretch Patent'.
(Our Patent most certainly does not stretch).
We've included some photographs to try and give you an idea of the colours. Please be aware that
the nature of the Web and the different computers on it mean we can't guarantee the colours you see
will accurately represent the real colours.

Leather
Real leather with a normal matt finish. Everything you'd expect from a leather shoe.
Softens with extended wear, and can be professionally stretched by a cobbler also. Like any other
leather shoe, you can scuff this material, but shoe polish soon restores it.
Available in Matt Black only.
Maintenance: Remove dirt with a damp cloth. Treat with shoe polish to assist
water-resistance and cover scuffs.

Patent Leather
Real leather, with a special second-skin bonded on top. Patent leather is very shiny,
and extremely durable, unlike PVC imitations. It doesn't stretch very well, and needs to be worn for longer than
normal leather before it softens. It doesn't crack (at least, we've never seen this), and is easy
to clean. It doesn't lose its shine. Available in Black, Red, and White.
Maintenance: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Don't use any solvents or detergents. |

Rubber
The rubber used in the manufacture of all rubber-items on our site is of very high quality, and gives an
excellent second skin senstation. It will stretch quite significantly. Like all rubber, during storage
it can take on a matt-grey hue in some places. This is perfectly normal. Please Note
that all of our current rubber styles use Black Patent leather on the
base of the shoe for added strength, and lace-up styles again use Patent Leather for anchoring the
eyelets or D-Rings.
Our rubber styles are available in Black or Red.
Maintenance: Use silicone spray to shine and remove matt-effect.
